Fall: Sequence-based Microbial Community Analysis (Graduate)

This is a hands-on, data analysis driven course that will cover amplicon sequencing (like 16S rRNA), metagenomics and metatranscriptomics. We cover the theory behind analyses as well as perform the actual analyses.

Spring: Host-Associated Microbiomes (Graduate / Undergraduate)

Co-taught with Dr. Nichole Broderick; this comprehensive, primary literature based course is intended to introduce undergraduate and graduate students to host-associated microbiomes.
